How do I change my username?
Your username is what identifies your account. Here you can see some of the uses of the name:
Allows you to locate your profile or the stories you have written on Wattpad .
Allows you to be tagged in a comment.
Allow a story to be dedicated to you.
It is used to verify your authorization when deleting a story .
Usernames are unique, everyone is different.
You can change your username at any time, but to do so, you’ll need your password. If you don’t know your password, you can refer to the following article: Reset or change your password.
When you change your username, it changes retroactively. You will be able to see it in all your previous comments, dedications and stories too. Once you stop using your username, it becomes available to other people. The username must be between 6-20 characters and cannot contain special characters, such as exclamation marks or spaces.
In the top right corner of the screen, click on your current username.
From the drop-down menu, choose Settings.
Change the button next to your current username.
Fill in your new username and password.
Save the file.
