How To Take The child Safety Off A Lighter?

I just bought a lighter, it came with the child safety protector and it is somehow disturbing me. I don’t know how to remove it.

    Child safety out of a lighter:

    1. Simply take a fork and insert one of the side prongs into the top of the lighter between the 2 wheels, and simply pry it up.
    2. From there you can just use needle nose pliers or fingers as above to pull it out completely.
