When Lloyd and Bessie Presley “grabbed their dream” of opening a theatre in Branson, Missouri, in June 1967, they launched what has become known as the longest-running historical “experience” in the world. They uprooted their whole family from Springfield, Missouri, and set up shop in Branson, where they quickly became known as “Branson’s original show on the strip.”
