How did agriculture develop civilization?
Around 10,000 years ago, when people started to tame plants and animals, they started to live in agricultural communities. By becoming farmers, families and larger groups were able to build communities and move away from being nomadic hunter-gatherers who had to hunt and gather to survive.
People often think of crop farming when they think of agriculture. This includes preparing the soil and land, planting, fertilising, watering, and harvesting different kinds of plants and vegetation.
